Fandeck Business · HubSpot

Business cards into HubSpot.

Fandeck Business sends a scanned contact from the rep's iPhone to a web address you choose. Point that address at Zapier, Make or n8n, and it creates the contact in HubSpot.

How the push works

Set it up with Zapier

  1. Create a new Zap. For the trigger, choose Webhooks by Zapier, event Catch Hook, and copy the webhook URL it gives you.
  2. In Fandeck, open the Business settings, paste the URL as the CRM address, and tap "Detect from my server". Zapier receives a test contact.
  3. Add a HubSpot action: Create or Update Contact. Map the fields from the test contact (name, company, email, phones and so on) to the HubSpot fields.
  4. Turn the Zap on and push a real card to check it lands.

Or with Make or n8n

The same pattern works in any automation tool. In Make, start with a custom webhook and add the HubSpot module that creates or updates a contact. In n8n, start with a Webhook node that accepts POST requests and add the HubSpot node, set to create or update a contact. Paste the webhook address into Fandeck and send a test contact so the tool can see the fields.

HubSpot tips

HubSpot matches contacts by email address, so if a rep pushes the same person twice, the existing contact is updated rather than duplicated.

Roll it out to the team

Set up one phone, then show the QR code in settings. Colleagues scan it and their apps pick up the same address and field mapping. No IT tickets, no rollout.

Have your own system?

If your company runs its own CRM or an in-house product, you can skip the automation tool. Give Fandeck the address of any endpoint that accepts an HTTPS request with JSON, and map the fields to match.

What it costs

Fandeck Business is $59.99 per user per year, with the CRM connection included. See pricing. Guides for other CRMs: Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive.
